One client in Indianapolis rents a small, furnished single-family for 3-month terms to traveling nurses.

I have heard of landlords having success marketing to traveling nurses and to State Department staff returning from posts abroad (I believe they receive a generous stipend for housing as they transition back to the U.S.).

The traveling nurse industry is strong here and looks to be underserved from my perspective.I hope this helps!

Hi I have a rental house on furnished finder and have rented to travel nurses before but I now have someone interested in booking the house for a 3 month stay for his aunt and her son as they are traveling to the USA from china.

Hey Alex, From what I am seeing and hearing from the agents/investors that I work with, a lot of investors who own properties are starting to transition from LTR to MTR/STR model, and housing professionals/nurses + the occasional booking on Airbnb/VRBO.  

I am a Nurse so I am accustomed to being paid time and 1/2 to work a holiday.

Nurse with great income and job history.

Another tool I find helpful is the Stipend Calculator https://www.furnishedfinder.com/Travel-Nurse-Stipend-calcula...It's similar to the stats page but it breaks down key amenities at the property.

I'm hoping to find a management company that works with traveling Nurses that require short term rentals.  

General consensus is a renter's insurance requirement is a huge deterrent for travel nurses.
