Talk to neighbours to see if there are problems with their water. 

However, bad tenants can be everyone’s nightmare- they might pay their rent late, cause havoc with the neighbours, treat an owner’s property like a tip or unreasonably demand endless costly repairs.

You can list your neighbourhood or a neighbouring address if you're worried about your place being targeted by criminals, if its an apartment building then its even less of an issue.
