I keep hearing this thing about reaching out and networking, figured I'd take a shot ;) I'm in LA and a drive/flight to Phoenix is pretty doable if I'm going to be in the presence of people who have experience and are willing to help a new longer term rental holding investor.

Looking to make my way down there; just need to see if I can squeeze in the flight.

It seems like a lot of people get their start in real estate investing with that move.I work in Sacarmento/Stockton as a flight paramedic.

Here in the Maritimes we have not seen quite the meteoric flight of property prices you have in ON and AB, but then again, we have not seen any real increase in average family income in a generation.

Fight or flight often comes into each deal you do, but just remember to push on, ask questions and run your numbers, then run them by someone with experience.  

Local REIAs, family, friends, person in the grocery store line, your dentist, the person next to you on your next flight everyone has problems in their lives that need help.
