I have my locksmith there as well to change the locks, no going back in after the sheriff has served the writ of possession to me. 

If you can't get in, leave another note that you will be coming back with a locksmith at a set time and they will be billed for the rekeying-and they will get copies of the new keys. 

Anyone experienced in locksmith services know if the 5 point vs. 3 point locks are really that much more complex and should cost more??

We've only had to have a locksmith out once, and invested in lock cutters for locks on storage units.5) No complaints, the more you do it the more efficient you get at it.Hope this provides some info. 

I also wonder how they got into the home if you have the only keys, or did they get a locksmith to "re-key" the locks?

You may not have a list of go-to locksmiths, handypersons (I don't know if handymen is sexist in 2017), cleaners, etc.
