It’s a jungle here.

In st Pete I would stay between 1st Ave N and 46th Ave N, jungle terrace is a solid area as well.

However in hot climates like Texas I would recommend going with what they call xeri-scaping or no-scape designs that are mostly rock and cactus. 

Sounds like you have a pretty nice lawn so I wouldn't leave it solely to the tenants to keep it up for the same reason everyone else has mentioned...they probably won't and pretty soon your beautiful lawn will look like a jungle :)  I would adjust your rent to include the gardner and let that be one of the perks of your home.

Seems crazy but this guy bought several properties at the end of the road (Hana), hardly ever comes to them and stays at the hotel when he’s here.... pays many people to hold the jungle back... who knows?

It appears you step out the back door into the jungle.

Put it off for three weeks and you've got a jungle.  

Does it looks like an overgrown jungle or just not perfectly pruned? 

Get it all out of the way soon so you don’t have to field complaints or coordinate for that heater, extra blanket, pillow, towel, etc *and a plunger* while you’re supposed to be exploring that beautiful jungle in South America?
