Renting for all my independent life now, I've noticed rentals I've found were on certain platforms being advertised, like craigslist, apartments.com, Facebook marketplace, and landlords posting to their personal social media accounts.However, I can't imagine these avenues being the only advertising methods, when you have something like vacancy to fill.

But, if they are flippers/rehabbers, investors, property managers, I could see that being a benefit.And I would certainly be looking at flight options into either market, as I couldn't imagine putting hundreds of thousands of dollars into investments in a market with visiting those investments at least a couple times per year.

I also know that they "didn't know about the sale ahead of time", so I have to imagine that played a role in the lien.

I'm wondering if the same lenders who financing STR's would consider Padspits.You may want to check this, but I would imagine that renting via Padsplit would be considered as a STR which have been highly restricted in the city of New Orleans, and the only way you can get a permit recently is to also live in the property.
