No humidity to speak of in the summer either that's the big draw back for me for anything East of Denver ... hard to get used to is... plus we get only 3 to 5 inches of snow a year .. and like this year did not get any...

The flooring that I have put down that was engineered hardwood in the past was not cheap but it is a great product because it withstands humidity much better than just solid hardwood floors.

For example if your basement is 75-80% humidity most of the time, and you just set the dehumidifier to knock it down to about 65-60% that will feel like a world of difference and it will only come on during the most humid days.

Serious, I would relocate it as you do not want a bathroom without some air circulation as the moisture would lead to humidity and possibly mold issues
