I turn on all of the lights prior to showing and burn a fragrant candle.

Tenants without electricity tend to use candles for light and that becomes a fire hazard.

I would prohibit incense and scented candles if I thought I could enforce it, and if I didn't think it interfered with quiet enjoyment.  

A teacher is a candle,  who dims their light; to light another.

I gotta go take a cold shower before my blood boils over.Sounds like Seattle rentals need more vacancy and even more candles.

:Had your wife been trying to get you to quit your JOB before then or was this an out of the blue moment.No but we did have young kids, a full time nanny & yet I was still burning the proverbial candle both ends with a lot of property.

And rentals, even in good appreciation times, can't hold a candle to the trajectory of successful flips, IF you are redeploying the capital into another flip to keep it growing, and not spending it.

Sure, it's got chrome footboards and piston rings, and tassles that were hand made by a descendent of the last Sioux chief...but I aint paying for that garbage chrome crap.
