Definitely better schools in Rockwall, I think more people commute into Dallas from Royse City than Rockwall too.

The one challange is maintaining the exterior, of the home being so close to a school it gets beat up.

Ps I'm all about giving back, so I would be interested in helping out some high school kids for sure, or getting involved with mentoring somehow.

Hi @Lolo Druff, @Nicholas L. referenced my previous post about buying out of state - I've had mixed results in Indianapolis metro area, Class A (nice suburb, great schools) rental has done well but Class C has been a huge headache (repair costs, stolen AC unit, attempted break in).

Currently talking to local schools and realtors.
