Any other way will result in frustration or worse, it will find you chasing "shiny objects of distraction".To do this you must learn three things, and implement them as one. 

I find specializing makes it easier to really add value to the transaction, and I don't want agents on my team that are going to be distracted by their retail clients and the different marketing that is required for that segment of the industry.

Then as you're working it, don't get distracted by shiny objects that make you completely change what you're doing.

Building multiple streams of income sounds great, but it can be extremely distracting and cause you to be spread too thin between your businesses. 

Listen to them, buy their stuff, dig into their material, don't get distracted.
