Garage conversion: Convert your garage into a separate studio apartment.

I decided to use this time to listen to audio books on real estate investing so I started out with the guide to investing in real estate, and I am currently on the guide to flipping houses.I would love to hear from some of you guys who have already started their journey (or maybe are well into their journey!)

Especially because it's tough to find even a studio to rent for anything under $1000 right now.

I turn one side of the house into a studio, that shares a wall with the main house, it has a separate entryway. 

The most recent price I just got to convert an existing space into a studio apartment was for $150,000 to only be able to get about $900/month rent.

We moved out of our 2 bedroom and studio units.Like any strategy, you have to do your research, get some numbers, and do your analysis to see what's worth going for.

I have three homes, some of which I've subdivided into individual units, one of which has an attached granny, one a remodeled garage studio, and another in which I just remodeled the master suite add-on into a large studio.

Thats a studio or one bedroom.
