@Jay HinrichsWhat surprised me the most is how the speaker in the 3-day put up a disclaimer slide in his PowerPoint again and again that included, in all caps. the phrase: "ASSUME THAT MOST PEOPLE MAKE NOTHING."

From the way you phrased your question above, @Anurag Bhalla , I'll guess you were asking the wrong question since this is what all escrow and title companies do.You don't add your name to a second lien on a property.

Account Closed - This is what is called upside down - the Loan Balance (Mortgage) is greater than the value of the property - hence the phrase "upside down".
