@Goanar Mar I like measuring return on equity.

Here in VA we range from the expensive areas, like NoVA, to mid-range areas like Richmond, to lower cost areas in the more rural parts of the state.

I don't know how familiar you are but signing on with the MLS, paying MAR fees, etc is higher as a limited broker but it would likely be under $2k to get the license, pay for a year of dues, registration, etc. 

I'm a new investor based out of the Washington, DC / Northern Virginia (NOVA) area.
