I let her know I'm very interested and will buy at the right price and that when they find a home to buy in SC we can set up the closing to coincide with the purchase of their new home.

I would not redo it with copper, but only pvc or cpvc.I also wonder if it's coincidence that they just happen to show up the last night before a tenant moves in.Good luck, there's probably not anything we can say or do to make you feel better right now :-(

Rent payment affected by tenant paycheck schedule change

I agree with the others about working with her....maybe expect something every 2 weeks or something. But on another note, why is it so hard for people to set aside their rent money if the due date doesn't coincide with their paychecks?...

Agents using lock boxes

I don't know if this is a common thing, or may be it's just a pure coincidence that I came across a few times just in the last two months. When I schedule with a listing agent to see a home, and most times it's either a short sale or REO, especially a REO, the home is vacant and you have a lock box with a four digit combination code. Now once in a while I will be at the property on time and the agent's running late, and I would get a call from them saying "go on ahead, the code is xxxx and I'll be there in 10 minutes".

Wholesaling Thoughts

So, while I didn't get that deal, it was another good one that I had a shot at.I'm not sure if Maryland is somehow different than Atlanta when it comes to wholesalers (certainly, it's nice to have professionals like Ned around)...or if it's just a coincidence.
