Home inspectors: I know some with a solid understanding of construction having owned properties en masse and then I’ve met the ones who show up with peach fuzz for facial hair barely having left their moms spare bedroom writing reports with 300 things they flag, killing a deal due to their incompetent opinion. 

I have only stayed in Airbnb's and have found that the stays in properties where the owners were actually in the property and rented out a studio or a basement or a room and en-suite bathroom were all good to excellent. 

It's even better if you can get a second living quarters or two en suites bedrooms.
