For myself it is the fact that only one trader was convicted and went to jail out of the thousands of Jr. and Senior executives at the banks and securities firms who caused this calamity.

Aside from being a business owner, I'm also a stock trader and I don't like the action on Wallstreet.

Just seeking information from other professionals if anyone has ever used or considered using bitcoin for investing. 

I'm a retail net leased investment broker based in Los Angeles, and I specialize in single and multi-tenant retail properties leased to the national credit "daily needs" tenants ranging from the top grocers (The Albertsons Companies, The Kroger Company/Ralphs, Wal-Mart Neighborhood Center, Trader Joe's, Sprouts, Whole Foods), to the drug stores (Walgreens Boots Alliance/Rite Aid, CVS), to the discount retailers (Dollar Tree/Family Dollar and Dollar General).  

I am a Futures Trader using a laptop, so, I can relate RE Investing to something like Buying a Stock to hold for a long period of time and Hope and Pray that it will eventually go Up in Value and make me some Money.

I'm a broker and have realtors that can out-sell a spice trader... but listing a rehab on MLS is pretty straight forward.

@Kristina Heimstaedt I could see your point about HELOC to get cash fast, I just saw a client pull a heloc out to buy bitcoin, and another to buy furniture (crazy).

In general, their 'costs' are paid from the sales proceeds and they leave closing with a check or other monetary instrument (like a wire transfer......I'm sure real cash has been used from time to time, maybe bitcoin....you get the idea, something worth liquid money).
