For anyone else interested in one of these seminars, here's my take:  I found the initial 3 day seminar worth the price of admission, although I didn't take the premium lifetime membership they were selling (they spent about 20-30 minutes on the sales pitch, and the rest was pure information, and gave me a lot of notes that I can use for starting points for research).
