Unbelievably lax due diligence in the part of the investor!

@Chris Martin I know it has been a year, but your post of what you were doing a year ago and the fact that Hurricane Florence has causing unbelievable damage has me wondering and hoping you enacted your plan.

If you are dealing with "no show" contractors , drunks or drug addicts , you are not dealing with a professional  contractor .

The HOA fees in Mexico are extremely low compared to here and the cleaning ladies are also unbelievably inexpensive.

That's unbelievably critical information.You say in the first sentence of the OP that you don't understand the numbers.

It’s unbelievable how they treat hosts sometimes, this is a complaint I read about at least weekly in other groups, so it is not rare. 

Yet if you go to a wheat field, cornfield, a forest, a park, if you deal with mulch and you look at the parts per billion that you can receive just mulching your yard or walking in a forest so far supersedes what you could receive in the house with mold growing, it is just unbelievable.

Sometimes the rules don't cover all human behavior smoking is a horrible addiction, and shelter is a necessity.
