The plumber was able to pull up a clog the first time (the tenants were not there long enough to have made this, we don't believe) and the second time we had it scoped with a camera to reveal some corrosion and damage to the sewage line...We were prepared for cap ex and have a cash reserve but still sucks ha!

What about security cameras outside or in common areas?

My friends dealt with flooding and major sewage issues, all because they didn’t have the camera go down the pipes during due diligence.

Taking the opposite route has some advantages, especially if you are comfortable on camera.

Other than security cameras, any recommendations on how to handle this?

Does anybody on Bigger Pockets have a recommended technology stack to satisfy all (or even most) of the needs listed below:- Smart Central Door Bell for the main entrance- Smart Locks for each unit (leaning towards Kevo from Kwickset)- Smart Home Security with Exterior Cameras (likely moving forward with Ring)- Smart Lights (leaning towards Honeywell Home)- Smart Thermostat (leaning towards Honeywell Home)Please advise.Best,Sam

Perhaps a note in private remarks as well as one on the back door that reads "NO UNATTENDED CHILDREN IN THE BACK YARD UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, AREA UNDER VIDEO SURVEILLANCE".

Not sure what exactly they want yet such as merely window and door sensors or outdoor camera's as well.

I plan on installing surveillance cameras in the common areas to monitor this and the place generally.   

We will certainly fix up the entrance to the park, and I'm also considering adding security cameras.3) As an older park, the lots are somewhat small and close together.
