It will not end well, but you will spend a ton of time and effort before you find that you can't change them.This isn't just about cleaning the apartment, there are probably root causes of the hoarding that you are not qualified to diagnose and treat.

I guess that is the root of the problem, I feel like I pay a lot for insurance.

Afternoon Brian Adamson-Love me some Florida weather but my roots are here in Grand Rapids.

I did a lot of research zoned in on 3 cities then I travelled to all 3 cities and planted my roots in NC..

In this age of instant information, I hope it catches up with them.Off soap box now.

For example, mine is the square root of my address rounded to the first two numbers divided by the day date of my birth minus one followed by the highway number to my other address at the lake followed by the middle numbers of that address then followed by my dog's rabies tag number then my first girlfriend's initials ending with my grandmother's first name.

We put on tyvek suits and opened the windows that worked , broke the glass on those that didnt , threw fans in the windows for 4 days before we went back in .( neighbors complained about the smell and the closest house was 50 ft away )  We made a pump system and used a new plastic trash can and sprayed with a garden hose over 100 gallons of a bleach , soap and water over floors , ceilings and walls just to sanitize as best we could . 

Hey Mose, I'd say you're better off washing the walls with soap and water and then going with a paint w/ primer.
