I have yet to find one connected correctly ;)I'm currently rehabbing a ranch home built in '78.The above the stove micro wave was vented to an old duct in the wall that must have been a heat vent to the bathroom at one time.

It was unlocked of course because of the heavy duty orange extension cord going through the open front door... it was attached at the other end to a multi-outlet strip, into which the tenant had plugged in several lights, the stove, and the refrigerator!

I didn't see a refrigerator but if you furnish that in some areas you can get away with charging rent for that and for the stove as well. 4) You allow pets.

I was able to leverage the building inspection to get the seller to replace the roof on both buildings, bring electric up to code in Kitchens and baths, replace one dishwasher, and replace one stove.
