I wonder if an inaccurate estimate by the insurance carrier could come back to bite an owner in the event of a disaster that would require a rebuild.

There are some insurance carriers that are know to be a bit more stingy and hard on paying claims but I think that also has a lot to do with the individual claim and the adjuster working that claim.
