@Linda Pasas you'll want to look in to it yourself but my understanding is that an umbrella policy kicks in after your primary policy is exhausted.

Recommend it be serviced and inspected by a qualified HVAC contractor when weather permits.The exhaust flue for the furnace enters the masonry chimney and has some gaps around this penetration.

The liability coverage from my insurance is primary on the case and like @JD Martin said umbrella kicks in only after the standard coverage of $300K is exhausted.
