The trim, walls, and ceilings have been painted so many times the lead is buried under multiple layers of paint and it doesn’t test hot.The windows can be replaced and the lead can be fairly easily contained and removed.

I wouldn't hesitate to spend the money if I were seeing value, and to top it off, things are exceptionally tight this year as I've not had W2 income since November so while a good tax preparer isn't exactly where I'd typically choose to trim expenses, I don't have a good one....

When we were ready to turn it, we did a refresh on the trim, had it painted and a kitchen remodel done with new cabinets and counters.
