Screw your family, screw the sacrifice you made, screw everything. 

When saving, honestly, as small as this may sound but living within you means, setting daily, weekly, and budgets, small sacrifices (Starbucks once a month rather than once a day), and holding yourself accountable.

This industry, real estate in general, financial security, financial freedom all takes sacrifice. 

The number one problem is that people want something for nothing or want reward without sacrifice.

I will never sacrifice quality of deal to acquire larger deals. 

It can get really pricey but if you are willing to take action and do whatever it takes, sometimes you're gonna have to budget and sacrifice for the better.

For our next deal, we are primarily interested in a SFR or 2-4 unit in a nice area, and we are willing sacrifice some cash flow for better appreciation (assuming that cash flow is still positive). 

Ensuring my daughters aren't afraid to set big goals, but making it clear to them that it  will take intentional action and sacrifice to achieve it.

You also don't want to sacrifice on comfort because that's where you earn good reviews and in the case of midterms, gets your guests to want to re-up their lease with you.

It takes hard work, effort, determination, sacrifice and a strong work ethic to become a residential investor.
