Complete renovation of the kitchen and dining room, and cosmetic renovations to both bathrooms.

Does anyone invest in Active Senior Living that are all in a large building with common area dining and gathering areas, etc.? 

There is 4 bathrooms, common kitchen living and dining room and laundry room.

After spending the next two weeks watching every real estate video I could find, I was determined to purchase my first rental property.By this time, I had been eating free meals at the school dining hall, saving my ROTC stipends, and working three part-time jobs (campus taxi driver at night, finance internship two days per week, and ice hockey referee on weekend mornings).

Obviously jealous of our wit, charm, and stunning good looks. j/k.I think Account Closed (the notion of the slumlord and unscrupulous robber baron is still deep in our psyche).One thing I notice is how little people understand who or what their LL is.

Will there be impact to price while selling a house with low ceiling levels( 7.5 to 8 feet) in rooms , living, dining.

The footprint is also small, has a good sized bedroom, kitchen and bath but no dining room,  very small living room and the other bedroom is upstairs and not very useful because of roof except for a kids room. 

We removed a large wall to open up the kitchen to the dining area, and extended the size of the bathroom, and added a pantry in the kitchen.

To keep rehab budget in tact would it be hardwood in Living room dining room, or granite in kitchen?
