When I was coming up I liked different books at different times for different reasons, but I remember liking off the top of my head:Confessions of a real estate entrepreneur (commercial real estate broker who has rehabbed and leased large complexes and shopping centers)The Gary Keller books are pretty goodWilliam poorvu's ( Harvard professor)I was a finance major so I like the less narrative books, less schlocky, more analysis.Personal finance is an interactive math game with real world implications and life rewards.

In my opinion, let them all fail, let some greedy entrepreneur (I mean that in a good way) build a new, profitable model for creating these commodities, and let the system work itself out, even if it takes a couple years.
