Hey,I am a new member and am looking for a property in Chicago. 2bed 2 bath in a elevator building.

the way to do this is get a license and go work for a broker that deals with investors.. you will find clients and then since your an agent you elevate above the no experience.. and you grow .. thats was my path.I cant think of something harder than to get into this with no experience no money and expect others to cut you in simply for coordinating vendors.  

When in fact this guy owned the home free and clear it appears.BP is a great resource but just because someone posts on BP or is a BP member does not elevate them to a position of blind trust and faith..

My personal home is at 1800 feet elevation and on spetic tank.

Talk to the people you run into in the elevator.  

You also have to deal with elevated property management costs (25% in this case!!!)

I attended @Jorge Abreu's "Elevate" meetup last month.

The majority of our work at this time is at the Jersey Shore raising houses to new elevations to lower their risk of future flooding, reduce their flood insurance and make them FEMA compliant.
