As a consequence, cities are running larger deficits and going bankrupt and the citizens in those Cities are paying higher taxes in support of amenities shared with the subdivisions (schools, arenas, etc).The initial attempt to address this imbalance of tax-base to services was an accelerating trend towards amalgamation of bedroom communities that we have seen over the past 20-years.

As an alternative you may want to look at some of the Crowd funding short term debt deals I think foreign citizens may be exempt from the accredited investor US regs..and or Look at investing in some mortgage funds here I the states..

Regardless of whether they file a homestead or not, there are today over 70,000 Texas residents who owner-occupy their multi-family properties...it appears none of them can take cash out of the free-and-clear property they live in---ridiculous, an unlawful restraint on alienation, a handicap to duplex citizen-owners, and a sad reflection on the intelligence of our Texas legislature and mortgage lobby here.

I wouldn't buy fresh cut flowers from someone who dealt in porn or that condones passing along unethical and/or illegal business activities, or conducts it,  it's not about their right to do so, it's about ethics and being a good business citizen.
