I calculate your mortgage will be something like $48k which means at 75% LTV your down payment is $16k: if you don't buy the points then you're ~7% towards your next property, which isn't a lot but isn't nothing.Contra to all of these points, if you don't trust yourself to wisely manage the $1,000 and you need the extra breathing room that the $14 adjustment in payments will grant you then psychologically you may be better off marginally increasing your cashflow, regardless of the numbers.

Saint John, NB has some cheap prices right now, but the local economy is stalled, though it may see new life breathed into it if the Federal Government and Trans-Canada push the bitumen pipeline through.There are areas of new drilling/development in SK where prices have yet to go completely berserk.

You won the judgment.....but good luck actually getting the $$ from me".........Stall and make it as hard as possible for them to actually see any $$.... they probably have other debt collectors breathing down their neck, so delay any "relief" for their other baggageOf course that will hurt your credit and be on your record, but at the end of the day I might just eat that just to do pay these people

No, be smart about it, get an education, no matter how easy or fun anyone makes R.E.I to appear, its hard work, takes capital...And more importantly it takes time to be to sucessful, unless you have a pot of gold to push you faster...For me i love real estate, i live it breathe it,eat it and sleep it....make sure this isnt just a faze, or you watched to many episodes of flip this house, now its got you excited, be sure you love it before you choose to throw away an education.
