Investing where I live and work is exciting for many reasons, financially of course, but also relationally, spiritually, and psychologically to be rooted and invested in a place and to actively promote the well being of that place. 

Thanks Dan---Brew City REI Club is a grass roots, community REI group mainly focused on Greater Milwaukee, Racine, Kenosha, Ozaukee and Waukesha counties although there are other investors in the club from all over WI. 

For most of us, there's nothing we can do except try to root out the worst cases of fraud.

But this time we had a plumber inspect the sewage line and he said roots had grown through them.

I've been rooting for you and hope that you have had some success!

If so, do you think they work or do you like sticking to your roots of yellow letters and pc?

I had to scramble and made a bunch of calls before a 24 hour plumber picked up and he said he would be there in an hour.The house was built in 1962, so the original sewage line was probably a clay line and it’s life cycle was coming to an end, as it took the plumber 2 hours just to clean out all the roots that were causing the backup.I didn’t get home until 2AM.The condition of the sewage line was so bad, that I had to get it re-piped for ANOTHER $3000. 

My "roots" are Houston, Texas, but we have a pretty decent setup here in terms of life (especially with the little kids.)

I can tell you that I had my assistant manually go down to Franklin County and pull this data and it didn't root out much.
