One of my favorite podcasts is #116 How To Quit Your Job Through Wholesaling, Flipping And Taking Action guess speaker Nasar Elarabi it's entertaining as well as informative.

I was recently at an REI workshop and the speaker said that banks are required by government to provide funding to REIs looking to invest in properties to provide housing to the community.

I could, perhaps, get a guest speaker to speak on a topic that everyone is interested in or would like more info on.  

Your timing is also pretty good in that the next monthly meeting of the local REIA is next week (CARREIA), and the speaker is supposed to be excellent.  

From some of the external speakers and other note investors who shared their experiences as well as just learning different approaches helped me.

Very interesting event lots of accredited investors and quality speakers.

Also they have great speakers and a multitude of sub-groups all over the Greater Philly area.

You also get access to other classes on property evaluation, guest speakers on a wide range of topics, who I suspect have a dog in the fight, as they are vendors.
