I like to leave my car behind and walk and use the market as often as possible, its close to theatre stuff, and in general I'm a downtown kind of guy... but hey, I'll totally make sacrifices to get a start that I can handle and scale up from there.

You should always carefully weigh whether or not this sacrifice is worth it. 

I love my career and I had to sacrifice and work my butt off to get here, but at best I can hope to be upper middle class.

Personally, I like to sacrifice a bit of cash flow for some appreciation- a balance of both.

Having a roommate is not always fun but it was a sacrifice needed to be made to grow a real estate portfolio. 

I'm sure it will be tough living apart but seems like it will be worth the sacrifice in the long haul.
