Before you do that, install some passive roof vents or an attic exhaust fan on a thermostat switch with a passive intake on the other side of the attic.

It's exhausting, but before you lose more money, start digging down deeper and increase you knowledge about your market so you can be involved more intimately with this crappy situation so you can break free of it, and get into a better situation.
