I am the president of the condo association I live in, which both my co-worker and I own primary residences in.

I've been asking some of the Vice Presidents at my job if they or anyone they know are heavily involved in real estate that may be willing to mentor a newbie.

In the past I have also served as an advisor to the local Housing Authority Directors and a past president and past Executive Director  on Landlord issues.  

I have 5 years experience working with them, I was the President of a 160 unit HOA they managed for us. 

I wish it was things won't pick up here for about another year or longer depends all on the price of oil and who becomes President..I would love to try New York ...Any suggestions of where I would start there?
