It's actually a trend in a lot of places near Destin, where you're close to the action but not paying the premium of being right on the beach.Freeport has a lot going for it, especially if you’re looking for good rental income without the high price tag of being right on the coast.

Yes the market is slower right now, we manage a portfolio of single-family homes in palm coast and palm bay, but we're seeing homes lease up in 2-5 weeks when priced for the market depending upon the market and condition and such. 

Someone on the West coast only cash flow is when you pay cash or half or more down.. mid west minimum down can and does create positive cash flow. 

I think the New England coast will continue to outpace many other metro areas in for job & population growth in the next 10+ years.

WEst coast  OR WA AZ NV CA etc is all cash on the barrel head there are no deposits and no over bids.. winning bidder presents the cashiers check and they have won the deal on the spot.

I’m on the west coast so pools are often a selling point and can charge more for this feature.
