One thing people haven't mentioned is look for your own ad on the key rental syndicated sites and see if it presents well. 

Their customer support is terrible and some of their software, but they have about 8x the site traffic in general than Airbnb and VRBO combined, surprisingly.  

I was able to get them in touch with an off booking sites place that had an opening in town.

I mainly want a site that offers advertising the property, online payment options, maintenance requests & at least a basic accounting aspect.Thank you in advance!

BP being 90% landlord business thats what most folks on this site are trying to scale.

and very easy to go on line pop companies names in or the MLO name in the system to see if they are real.. if they pop up on that site then they are for sure real. 

Go on furnishedfinder.com and airbnb.com to find what is available on those sites for a traveler.

I'd like to not "find out the hard way" if one of these sites are not a good match for me.The ones I'm considering are Propstream, Property Radar, ListSource, and PropwireSomething to note, I am looking to return to doing some wholesale deals, using criteria such as absentee owner, out of state owner, tax delinquent, vacant, liens, and pre-foreclosure..

Even with my former partner (who was our 'PM / GC' on site for our projects), it was sometimes tough navigating the process, managing budgets and costs, and keeping everyone in line, including him. 

We do a pretty good deal of site selection with data behind it and use experian as a data source.
