Owners in such cases get no sympathy trying to hide behind LLC's.In my case, I bought an REO from a bank that had an illegal conversion that the authorities got wind off.

It seems the lawmakers do not take as much sympathy on the businesses as the general public!

So, rather than delve on opinion or the general sympathy of this group, please provide a scanned copy of the contract you signed and all the associated paperwork, so we can make an informed opinion on here.

Judges up here are firm about that issue, so you won't get any sympathy.

No sympathy here

As a landlord, it doesn't hurt to offer your sympathy and a little help in a situation like this.  

I'm not bringing up my personal past for sympathy or to impress; but interjecting that we take notice of each day, and focus on our goals to make it through any obstacle.I had invested in real estate prior to my divorce and did not do well.  

And if he screens well enough, he might not get that sort of clean up next time.I can't work up too much sympathy for him. 

You won't get any sympathy from me for the banks. 

My sympathies to anyone else having to face this tyranny.As an aside, it allowed me to jump full bore into RE investing which was a blessing.
