Consider hiring a property manager for the first year or two, then transition to self-management when you have more experience.Hiring a property manager is usually cheaper than losing a ton of money making rookie mistakes.

@Bryan Mitchell - I haven't heard many out right complaints about the service or noticed many errors in their past returns. 

As such you have quite a few under capitalized Rookie investors jumping into this.

I’ve recently started listening to the Rookie Investor podcast – only a few episodes in, but I’m already learning a ton.

I run a large group of Philly small landlords and see the big trouble folks run into only because they lack experience and a good coach if you can find one will help you avoid costly rookie mistakes.

Having a coach can really help you avoid whopper rookie mistakes.

Dude your so naive  planes falling out of the sky lately ( all Southwest ) is clearly pilot Error has nothing to do with Boeing.. media reporting on Aircraft incidences is so poor .. they have no clue what they are talking about..
