Other investors in my area are praising such an asset and I really want to avoid what you (or others) might have gone through.

@Daniel Hennek, Daniel first I would like to apologize for my emotionally charged response to you, you and @Jeff S are correct, your comments to my post were done in the manner and fashion in which members of BP expect and that is whether they are hard to hear or praising comments everything and everyone is just trying to help each other out in this vast world of Real Estate. 

Seems most of the folks who use these services live on the west side of the country and can’t find a deal in their hot market to save their life ...so even a over priced marginal turnkey in the Midwest seems exciting I guess which warrants all the praises .

And it gives them group praise as you increase the overall skill level of the group.  

For myself, I find that if I organize my thoughts and put them out in public for people to praise or mock, I find out if I in fact know what I think I know.  

Had this tree struck your wall as it fell and directly caused the wall to collapse, I'm 99.9% sure it would be covered by your policy and you'd be praising your insurance carrier and agent right now (rather than questioning them). 

I've also always gotten compliments and praise for my houses after I 'rescue' them.... 

Says I should call the broker who is selling the house who probably doesn't know if she pays rent (of course the broker wants her out so will praise her to the skies).
