Since living here I’ve put in a new HVAC in both units and kitchen into one unit, I’ve max out my credit card, and have had my parents help me.

I'm thinking about renting the basement room and share the kitchen. my question here is what are some requirements or tips when renting a room 

It DOES NOT require a full gut rehab (rehab could consist of new kitchen, new bath(s), windows, flooring, paint, etc.

That being said, I scrapped the idea and bought another rental property.One hack to consider, a colleague of mine finished a third floor, made the third floor the living room and kitchen and the second floor the two bedrooms because that scenario avoided the need for a second means of egress.

But you still have to provide (and maintain) a kitchen, a bathroom, HVAC (well maybe just heat), a water heater.

The comps in the area for MF's were at minimum 550k.Since purchasing the home there have been many updates to it to include a fully updated 2nd floor unit, updated bathrooms on both floors, new kitchen on the first floor, new roof, new driveway, new paver patio, updated front porch.

Hi, this is a high rise condo and the building is responsible for the ventilation system which is not working, not only in my unit (bathroom & kitchen) but in the entire building.

I know the typical value add on a SFH is to fix up kitchens and bathrooms, and forced appreciation with ADU’s or new bathrooms and bedrooms, but how can you do this in a MFH?

I'd rather not spend the $$ for the granite or quartz kitchen countertops. 

From those of you who have done many rehabs, and are better at interior design than I am, I am curious what suggestions you may have for this kitchen?
