Hello all -I have been thinking of getting into realestate investment for a while with a goal of generating income stream (today my only income Is through my job - I make decently as a senior exec). 

I think these look really nice and want to use these on my next flip.

If it's not a real job... next.

Im willing to do cosmetic repairs up to about $20k but dont want to deal with a gut job.

It's super nice! 

Plus, with how much appreciation is coming to Columbus Ohio, that house will easily 2x or 3x over the next few years from all the population/job/companies developing here.Plus, Anduril just announced another 4k jobs and over 1B+ in development in Columbus Ohio along with all the companies already developing here (Intel, Google, Amazon, FB, Nationwide Childrens, etc)

Painting, for instance- an amatuer could take their time and paint a house over the course of a couple weeks and do a great job, but a professional crew could do the entire job in a day. 

Don't split the work between multiple contractors if possible, finding one to do all or most of the work will keep prices down.Challenges were finding replacement pieces for certain items as manufactured homes were very different than stick built as well as going through state guidelines for affixing the house to the land Hey @David Jesperson, welcome to the BP Forum and congrats on completing your first solo deal AND making a nice profit!

I feel like i am in this awkward in the middle stage where I still need to work my corporate job, but right on the cusp to make real estate my fulltime job.
