This can require a large investment in fire/life/safety, mechanical systems, elevators and ADA compliance.No established hotel with recognition...it always takes time to ramp up a new brand in a new location.

I was not speaking of the recognition of earnings as to a taxable event, you are correct that an option price or assignment fee is recongnized in the year received, that is not the same as "earned"."
