I've been able to Wholesale several parks this way so there are different business models that all benefit from the MHP Bootcamp ecosystem.  

My wife and I currently live in Surrey BC, however she is an American working as a health care professional in Bellingham so we are actually looking to house hack our first purchase somewhere near Blaine or Lynden.I initially joined bigger pockets for the educational material and tools, but when I realized there was a whole ecosystem of people on here I became pretty excited to meet and network with other experienced real estate investors and agents in the area.Our short term goal is to house hack a 4-plex somewhere north of Bellingham and then once we have taken that first step we can start to look outwards in terms of investments.

All the education is the same more or less, it just depends on your target market and the ecosystem you get. 

I chatted with him a bit, and asked specifically about the role of individual investors within the P2P ecosystem, given how much institutional money is flowing in (also to the RE platforms BTW).

You will quickly find out that Real estate investing is not one animal it is a entire eco system that you need to get very familiar with before you spend your hard earned funds.

Whatever benefit wholesalers bring to the property ecosystem is outweighed the damage they cause.   

Before long you'll be learning all kinds of amazing things, making local connections, and starting to get a handle on where in the vast investing ecosystem that you will fit in.

I don't own properties there, but from what I understand: lower price to entry, higher cap rates, less sophisticated investor ecosystem (this could be good or bad).

Paradise Valley is surrounded by the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem of 22 million acres, so you get all the benefits of living near the park, without all the regulations and negatives of park living (no dogs in the park, no mountain bikes, no off road vehicles, and many more regulations).
