An LLC is established by state statute, for federal taxes you'll be treated as a disregarded entity (if you're the sole member) or if you have multiple members you'd be treated as a partnership, or you can elect S or C corp treatment.

@Greg SmithAssuming you are the sole owner of the LLC, the IRS sees this as a "disregarded entity" - meaning it basically still sees it as a sole proprietor.

Regardless of how many single-member LLCs treated as disregarded entities you have, each separate rental property has its own Schedule E entry (they are not lumped all together into one property).
