@Martin Yung   Plus this is not Singapore they don't cane people in fact they rarely catch those who strip these houses... 

My plan was to start buying small properties in Singapore (which is the country I am from), however to buy a property in Singapore, i would need at least 200k cash upfront.

Well, here's the story...In summary, I purchased a “tenanted” duplex (3/1 on each side), nicely rehabbed, from a turn-key company based in Singapore.

I am planning to invest on a upcoming development which is located in Singapore.

I used credit hilton points to get a suite at the nicest hilton in Singapore :) it has paid for many great vacation rooms just for every day spending!

I don't go into the tax and forex aspects but other issues equaly important I discuss that will give you some frame work.I have done a lot of business in Singapore and will be travelling there in 2015 as well.
