So first time I made this post in another forum, a "pro contractor forum" lol, I was cut down, told I was stupid, and then banned for not being a "contractor" all in a couple hours.

I attended their last public meeting, and it doesn't look like they will be banning it altogether as many cities have done.

There is very little short term rentals as Clark county banned it, Las Vegas heavily regulated it, and everyone assumes North Las Vegas will follow. 

@Rob Denn Hi Rob, what you mentioned is exactly the reason why Airbnb is being banned in multiple cities.

At least you know he will not be banning rentals.

According to the Tampa Bay Times:"The only way around the short-term rental ban is if a homeowner can show that their home had been used as a tourist rental prior to the passage of the 2006 ordinance, had been continuously used as a short-term rental since then, have a city occupational license and have paid sales tax on all rental income.If they cannot do that, and few can, homeowners faces potential fines of $250 a day if they fail to comply."

I mean one guy even told he can have someone get me banned ??

That was just the HOA's way of saying they don't want renters, but they aren't going to ban them.

According to Nolo.com, "The federal Fair Housing Acts do not expressly ban discrimination based on age.
