We have quartz countertops, bifold aluminum doors (4 large open doors), beautiful new kitchen with crown molding cabinets, waterfall kitchen island, ancient stone wall in our living room, all hardwood floors, etc. they are comparing my house to houses with carpet, old cabinets/kitchen, etc.

It works for us because we didn't want to store things or bring them here,  they care for the ancient dog, we have a home base when we visit the U.S., etc.  

The boiler looks ancient, but seems to be working with no immediate issues.

I become more bold as the days pass. my team is coming together slowly as I follow the ancient guided path to wealth, consuming more knowledge every day.

The soffits are rotten with large holes in them, there's an addition on the back that was never completed and basically looks like ancient ruins.

You'll still be there leveraging your asset in the wisest way possible long after this drama is ancient history.

On one of my earliest deals, when I asked the seller’s broker this question, they said, “They plan on taking the money and moving to Greece for retirement.”

One of them the seller told us the roof was 5 years old and the inspector got up there and it was ancient and he recommended immediate replacement or at least being able to replace immediately, where because the roof was 5 years old I was going to reserve over 3 years of cash flow for a new one.
