The mechanics of the transaction were actually very involved and some of the most intricate and detailed of any transaction I've been a part of, however the results were worth the effort.

I think build to rent is a great option if you can get cheap enough land to make it worth it.

In other words, take your $172K and leverage it into $688K worth of rental property.

And when the company you're suing has shut down and apparently has no money, is it even worth the effort?

You’ll pay more for tax prep, more for record keeping, more for financing but what will you get?

I still don't have a receipt or record for the transfer outside of my bank record. 

I have heard comments that homes in TX or GA need a major rehab after 10 years, builders use MDF for trim, pressboard under siding instead of OSB sheeting etc As an investor we buy 1960s homes, they have good bones and are worth an update.

Help me see if this is "worth it" or not.
