I am looking to get into real estate wholesaling and they had great speakers there.

I am amazed at some of my local wholesaler competition who only attend meetings when the speaker is of interest to them.

You will hear some general announcements and an introduction to the topic and speaker for the evening.Presentation/TrainingA guest speaker will present a topic for their presentation or training opportunity.

They have a monthly meeting, with a "guru speaker."

Our guest speaker is Pittsburgh's largest home buyer - Joe Calloway.

I also highly recommend listening to the BP podcasts (free - and I learn something new every podcast), plus Traction REIA has monthly speakers and workshops (under $70) that can also be very good training (although watch out for the sell for coaching or more in depth training).  

Great speakers and networking galore!

In addition to that, it would be great to have some speakers that give presentations in advanced mode, skipping the newbie explanations and digging deep into meat and potatoes advanced content.

They have attorneys as speakers, and the interaction between landlords and investors is priceless.
